"Jack and his helper/line wrangler showed up on time, we discussed the plan for the day, and they went to work. I really liked that they had "Bluetooth" communications in their safety helmets. No brances falling on someone else, etc. All their equipment was newer looking and they had everything they needed. They cleaned up the brush/small branches and put them on my burn pile. In short, they were professional in all aspects of the job. Glad to give a 5 star review."

We were worried that the trees would fall on our home or fall on our neighbors home. The price was very reasonable and it was very entertaining for our family to watch what they were doing. "We had 4 mature cedar trees and one mature oak tree just inside the property line. The trunk of one of the cedars was compromised when a huge branch broke off due to high winds, landing on the neighbor's shed. Although no damage was done, the writing was one the wall that this could happen again but with property damage. I sent an email to Black Butte Tree Service on December 29, 2025. Jack responded quickly and was able to come out that day. We got a reasonable estimate to remove the 5 trees and one other cedar and requested the work. One week later (January 5, 2026) Jack and a helper came out and in the rain and later snow, began the removal process. By Friday all the trees were down. Jack took precautions to protect our lawn by laying down plywood and for that I'm grateful. He also contacted the neighbor seeking permission to go onto their property to pick up tree limbs and clean their property. Jack is friendly, professional and really strives to do tree work as safely as possible. He comes highly recommended from me and I urge you to give him a call or email if you need tree service. I'm glad I did and now I can sleep well during windstorms."

I needed a 60ft pine cut down, and Black Butte Tree Service made light work of the tall pine, as well as cut the entire tree into rounds at no extra charge. Afterwards he stacked the rounds exactly where i wanted them, and he even scraped cleared any and all debris such as cones, branches, etc into a centered pile at my request so that I may burn when the weather permits.
